Semester 1: Mechanics planning & testing

For Semester 1 I created and polished the core mechanics and added in two specific mechanics to add to the gameplay:

  • an ability which allows the player to move objects around - Interact With Environment ability (IWE)

  • an ability which allows the player to adjust the collision on objects to allow the player to walk through/ stand on them - Walk Through Walls ability (WTW)

SEMESTER 2: DESIGNING THE LEVEL (WIP)

Final Year Project 2020: Text

For Semester 2 I am designing the level based on previous plans and the mechanics I have designed. in the previous semester.

Initial plans for the project were to have the level in an enclosed area but opening out the level has given more opportunities to explore and create a quality level with the tools and mechanics I created in the previous semester.
