Level Design: Puzzle - platformer
The initial plan for the Puzzle-platformer project was to create a level focused around platforming and navigating through a mix of puzzles and platforming sections.
Each semester had a different distinct goal:
Semester 1:
Coming up with a plan for the project
Creating working mechanics for the project (And testing them)
Creating a testing area for the project and to showcase the mechanics
Semester 2:
Designing a level using the mechanics previously created
testing the level and fixing/ changing issues

Semester 2: Designing the level
Semester 1: Mechanics planning & testing
For Semester 1 I created and polished the core mechanics and added in two specific mechanics to add to the gameplay:
an ability which allows the player to move objects around - Interact With Environment ability (IWE)
an ability which allows the player to adjust the collision on objects to allow the player to walk through/ stand on them - Walk Through Walls ability (WTW)
